I didn’t meet Mya or Charlie until their wedding day (in fact, I didn’t even meet Charlie until AFTER the ceremony), but I immediately loved them and their families. While Mya grew up in Memphis, she moved to Colorado and met Charlie there a few years ago. After dating for a year, Charlie proposed right before his graduation from graduate school, and of course, she said yes!
Mya and Charlie incorporated SO much of their personal style into their wedding day– from sunflowers to trail mix wedding flavors, to a sassy but GORGEOUS Rue de Seine dress that was fit for vows and to get down. They also incorporated Mya’s Filipino traditions into their traditional Catholic ceremony, making it one all their own. Mya’s father, as well as one of his friends, even joined the Soul Shockers in one of their songs, playing the piano and guitar flawlessly with the band!
Their enchanting night ended with sparklers and a carriage ride for the newlyweds. Congrats guys!
